How to use :
1.Hold the middle part of the instrument and gently place the hardness tester on the flat specimen (or test piece) larger than the presser foot.
2.When the hardness tester presses the foot smoothly and contacts the sample within 1 second, the scale indicated by the pointer is the hardness value of the test sample (test piece).
3.In order to improve the measurement accuracy, the sample should be placed on a flat glass or flat plate, and each measurement point should be measured only once. The measurement points of different parts of the same sample separated by 25 mm or more should be no less than 5 points.
4.The measurement results are averaged, which is the hardness value of the sample material.
Attention?
When the hardness tester presser foot is in the free state, the pointer is displayed as “0”, the end face of the presser pin is in close contact with the plane of the presser foot on the glass plate, and the pointer display should be “100”.
If the hardness tester pointer cannot display “0” and “100” when checking, it needs to be adjusted to “0” and “100” to be used.
