Used for determining the reactivity on slaking of ground quicklime.
Details of apparatus
Consists of following parts and accessories
- Mechanical Stirrer : Speed of 50-500 Revolution/Minute. Fitted with a special stainless stirring rod, the end of which is formed into a loop to follow the contour of the reaction container as per EN 459-2 Standard. Power supply : 230 volts, 50 Hz, Single Phase, AC Supply.
- Modified Dewar Flask : Capacity 1000 ml fitted with Special rubber/Teflon gasket cover
- Dial Thermometer : 0° to 99° C x 0.01° C with temperature measuring probe
Complete with base and stand
Essential accessories at extra cost to perform the complete experiment as per ASTM C100 & EN 459-2 Standard
- Hot air oven
- Electronic balance of 220 gram capacity x 1 mg accuracy
